DIY eyelash extensions from the brand Nanolash caught my eye. I have extremely sensitive eyes and very weak lashes. Many cosmetic products give me allergic reactions and irritations. I’ve tested DIY Eyelash Extensions out of curiosity. What are my thoughts after the test?
My eyes have been super sensitive since childhood. That obviously meant I couldn’t decide on semi-permanent eyelash extensions; wearing these for a long time was problematic. My eyes would quickly become red and watery.
Nanolash DIY cluster lashes are – according to girls’ reviews – soft and flexible. I decided to give them a try. Are you curious about the test results?
Why DIY Eyelash Extensions from Nanolash?
Many times I tried experimenting with eyelash-enhancing solutions and products like semi-permanent lashes, strip lashes or various mascaras promising the WOW results.
My sensitive eyes have always been a problem. Many cosmetics caused allergic reactions; false lashes would trigger puffiness and redness after a few days of wear.
That’s why I decided to test DIY cluster lashes from the brand Nanolash. They have an extremely thin and flexible band while the lashes are soft and have a lovely curl.
I ordered my set of 36 eyelash clusters, in 3 lengths: 10 mm, 12 mm, 14 mm. What’s also great, there are 8 styles to choose from. I could pick the best cluster lashes for my eye shape.
At the brand’s official website, you can also get a full lash extensions kit which additionally contains a bonder, remover, sealer and lash tweezers.
Nanolash DIY Eyelash Extensions. What does the producer of the cluster lashes promise?
I’ve noticed that the manufacturer makes big promises about the product. The cluster lashes are supposed to:
- last for 5 days from application.
- be easy to apply; the process should take less than 10 minutes.
I was skeptical at first. Many cosmetic brands make such declarations which – I’ve seen that for myself – are rarely true.
Still, I made an order for my Nanolash cluster lashes and wanted to find out how long they last plus how fast they are to apply. The instructions in the box were logical and I followed the steps carefully:
- I applied a layer of the bonder and waited until it got sticky.
- I applied a lash cluster as close to the lash line as possible.
- I put some sealer on the lashes to remove the stickiness.
I used 4 lash clusters per eye. I wanted natural-looking results. I confirm that the manufacturer was right – application of cluster lashes was very easy and actually enjoyable. To be precise, it took me 8 minutes and a few seconds.
The DIY lash extensions were supposed to last for 5 days, but they were still in the same place after 8 days! I followed aftercare instructions and avoided sleeping on my back. I think by doing so I made the cluster lashes last longer.
What’s most important, the soft, luxury lash clusters turned out to be gentle on my sensitive eyes! I didn’t experience any discomfort or irritations during the eight days of wear.
The product makers claim that DIY Lash Extensions can only be used once. However, they preserved their initial shape after I took them off. They look reusable to me!
DIY eyelash extensions from Nanolash. Review summary
Girls, if you also have sensitive eyes, then I think the DIY Eyelash Extensions are among the best picks. Soft and lightweight, Nanolash cluster lashes never gave me any allergic reactions, and wearing these was sheer pleasure.
On top of that, the process of applying cluster lashes at home proves extremely easy. The application does take less than 10 minutes and the wisps stay put for longer than the promised five days.
