How to Care for Fine Hair? My Easy Tricks

Hey, girls!

If you also keep fighting with fine and volume-less hair that gets frizzy and unaesthetic in contact with humid air – let me offer some help. A few useful hacks and tricks. There is one more nasty thing about fine hair. The roots get oily very quickly whereas hair ends stay dry and frizzy. How to care for such hair type the right way?

1. Wash Your Hair With a Mild Shampoo

The scalp of fine hair needs to be clean, have a proper pH to be able to control the work of sebaceous glands. The more detergents, parabens, silicones and SLS there are in your shampoo, the worse for you.

2. Mind the Keratin!

Keratin can save your hair yet it must be used in moderation or be balanced with natural oils (oil your hair at least once a week). If you use too much keratin, your hair can break and fall out. You will face something known as the protein overload. Instead of rebuilding hair, you will make it brittle and coarse.

3. Hair Oil Treatment

Apply oils to the scalp, not only to hair. Choose the ones that match your hair porosity and contain squalane – a valuable substance that controls sebum secretion and oiliness of the scalp. What is more, it will never leave your scalp dry like many shampoos for oily hair.

4. Dry Shampoo

The cosmetic does not only lift the roots leaving your hairdo voluminous. Dry shampoo lets you tame greasy roots without drying hair ends. After using the shampoo, there is no need to wash hair and reach out for a hot blow-dryer as often.

5. Blow Dry Your Hair Upside Down

As a consequence, your hair gains body as it dries with lifted roots. You can also try to change your parting from time to time. As a result, your hair will not be flat because it is not used to the new hairdo.
