I know that many of you wouldn’t do without a hairdryer. I wouldn’t, especially when I’m in a hurry in the morning and can’t wait hours until hair air dries. At the same time, we should realize that a hairdryer is one of the things that leads to hair dryness and damage quickly. How can we prevent that? That’s easy! All we need to do is choose a good heat protectant spray. Let me answer your question before you even ask it: yes, I know the best sprays out there. They proved great for other users as well. If you want to know their names, keep reading!
Thermal Protection Sprays for Hair: 4 Best Products
Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray
This spray is my favorite and I’ve already used up many bottles. I recommend it to everyone! Firstly, it has a reasonable price and lasts long, plus looks very elegant. Naturally, it does what it’s made for, namely, protects from high temperatures, strengthens and repairs, but also beautifies the hair: mine is instantly smoother, more shiny and feels wonderfully soft. Nanoil Heat Protectant Spray also makes the locks easier to brush and style. Silk-derived proteins are added and they proved the best ingredient for a heat protectant because they additionally nourish the hair and make it look its best. It’s the best heat protectant you can use on wet or dry hair. It has no flaws! <3

Kevin Murphy Ever Smooth Spray
Get ready for another cool heat protectant! Unique design from a prestigious brand. If Nanoil’s spray didn’t exist, then Kevin Murphy Ever Smooth would definitely be my number one because of the wonderful formula and effect. Like all products by Kevin M., this one has a lovely packaging, but what’s inside is great too: Wood Bark Complex displays similar properties to AHA acids, revitalizing and strengthening the hair so it is resistant to thermal damage. On top of that, the product includes special polymers which are activated by heat, protecting the locks. Kevin Murphy Ever Smooth is a good styling primer and has hold, plus smooths the hair and prevents static or frizz. It can be used on wet or dry hair.
Balmain Thermal Protection Spray
Oh, it smells like heaven! And it has an amazing smoothening effect because of oils in the formula. If you’ve got fragile hair, use it sparingly (unless you want to look like Severus Snape :D). Balmain Thermal Protection Spray is really effective, acting as a shield against high temps, preventing dryness, adding smoothness and making the hair easier to detangle. Despite added oils, the product is light and nice to use. It’s enriched with panthenol and silk proteins. Hair is nourished and strongly protected, however, I wish the spray was easier on the pocket.
Kemon And 13 Heat Spray
It took me a long time to find a heat product which would be more budget-friendly than Kevin Murphy’s or Balmain’s. I finally managed to get a good one. It topped products from L’Oreal and Wella so it’s really cool. Even though it didn’t make my hair as pretty, shiny and smooth as the previous items did, it made it easier to comb and style, plus, what’s most important, effectively protected from heat of a blow-dryer or curling wand. The formula holds nourishing ingredients: flavonoids from grape seeds for strengthening effect, and rice-derived ferulic acid which is an antioxidant. Kemon And 13 Heat Spray shields the hair while blow-drying, and prevents free radical damage.
I’m curious which product caught your eye. Will you add one of the items to your daily hair styling routine? Which one? Looking forward to your comments. Let me know if you also blow-dry your hair and if you think heat protection is necessary. 🙂
