2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz – a highly recommended brow pencil
Of course, I know it was predictable that Anastasia BH’s brow pencil would get on this list and it would rank high. After all, Anastasia herself is a brow expert, and the pencil she created was one of the first retractable pencils that didn’t need sharpening. I’m not surprised that it’s such an eagerly and frequently recommended brow pencil, as its quality is truly great. In addition, it comes in 12 shades to choose from! There’s a lot to choose from, although I must admit that some shades are so similar to each other that I wouldn’t risk my first purchase online – it’s better to go to the drugstore and check out the shades in real life.
3. Fenty Beauty Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler – a very interesting brow pencil
Ok, I must confess that I’m totally obsessed with Rihanna’s cosmetics and at one time this was my favorite brow pencil. However, I must admit it was a pain in my heart to spend a fortune on Fenty Beauty cosmetics, and my budget suffered considerably. The Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler is unique in that it comes with a pretty cool slide-out brow pencil on one end, and a very unusual brush on the other, different than a spoolie. It allows you to blend the product well and create effects resembling brow powder, not a pencil. It’s a matter of preferences though… somehow I didn’t use this brush often, as I prefer to brush out excess cosmetics with a regular and traditional spoolie. The Fenty Beauty brow pencil is waterproof and boasts an impressive color palette. You have plenty to choose from!
4. Benefit Cosmetics Precisely MY BROW – a good brow pencil
Speaking of eyebrows, it’s impossible to leave out Benefit – a brand that has a lot to say about brow makeup products. The devoted fans of the brand claim MY BROW is the best and unbeatable brow pencil. I admit that it’s pretty cool and in general well-executed and I like the designer packaging, but does make it instantly the best brow pencil out there? However, it is certainly a frequently recommended brow pencil and deserves to be high on my list of top picks. The tip is cool and very thin, and the formula is waterproof. Is it worth its price? I always wait for a special offer as the regular price of this brow pencil is unacceptable to me. The shades are great and there is a lot to choose from, and the brow pencil itself works pretty great too.
5. MAC Eyebrow Styler – a decent brow pencil
Although MAC may not be considered a super trendy and posh brand, I truly appreciate it, as it can pop up with some pretty good beauty gems every now and again. Such is the case, for example, with this pencil. In my view, it performed so well, it beat the Dior and YSL brow pencils! It surprised me pleasantly with its unique waxy formula. Overall, it is a truly decent brow pencil. I noticed it is highly recommended on many online forums and social networks. But the problem is that…Among the available 14 shades, many look unnatural in my opinion and only 3 really are noteworthy, as they are neutral and suit most brow colors. I loved Spiked the most.
